FRENCH POLYNESIA 2019/2020

Exploring French Polynesia

In late 2019, I embarked on an extraordinary journey through French Polynesia. Landing first in Tahiti, I was immediately captivated by the island's vibrant culture and stunning landscapes. My next stop was the beautiful island of Moorea, where I explored its lush mountains and crystal-clear lagoons.

From Moorea, I took a small flight to the remote Marquesas Islands, a journey that led me to the raw and unspoiled beauty of Nuku Hiva. I spent over a month on this amazing island, immersing myself in its pristine nature and rich local traditions. The highlight of my stay was attending the Mata’ava Cultural Festival on Ua Pou, a nearby island accessible by boat. This festival offered a unique glimpse into the vibrant cultural heritage of the Marquesas, with traditional dances, music, and ceremonies.
I concluded my adventure in Fakarava Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in the Tuamotu Archipelago, renowned for its immaculate beaches, clean waters, and abundant marine life. The highlight was swimming with sharks at the famous Shark Wall, making this trip a truly unforgettable experience filled with diverse photographic opportunities.
