Vietnam: Living and Exploring the Land of the Dragon

In early 2018 and again in early 2019, I had the incredible opportunity to live and explore Vietnam for several months. Based in the bustling metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City, I delved into the vibrant culture, rich history, and breathtaking landscapes of this fascinating country.

Ho Chi Minh City, with its energetic street life, historic French colonial architecture, and delicious cuisine, served as my home base. The city's pulse was infectious, from the bustling Ben Thanh Market to the serene Jade Emperor Pagoda.

During my stays, I took brief yet memorable trips to the Mekong Delta and Phu Quoc Island. The Mekong Delta, with its intricate network of rivers, lush rice paddies, and floating markets, showcased the rural charm and traditional lifestyle of Vietnam. I captured the daily life of locals navigating the waterways and the vibrant colors of the delta's landscapes.

Phu Quoc Island, a tropical paradise in the Gulf of Thailand, offered a stark contrast with its pristine beaches, clear waters, and lush jungles. The island's natural beauty provided a serene escape and a chance to unwind and explore its underwater wonders.

Living in Vietnam allowed me to immerse myself deeply in its culture and landscapes, creating lasting memories and capturing the essence of a country that balances tradition and modernity.
